Amanda Becker and Ryan Dreifke, both of Kenosha, announced their engagement. She is the daughter of Paul and Suzanne Becker of Kenosha. He is the son of Randy and Michelle Dreifke of Kenosha.
The future bride is a 2003 graduate of Tremper High School. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a graduate license in reading from Carthage College. She is employed as a literacy teacher for the Racine Unified School District.
Her fiance is also a 2003 graduate of Tremper High School. He received a master's degree in accounting and finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He is employed as a controller for Snap-on Tools in Milwaukee.
The couple will be married on Oct. 11 and plan to reside in Kenosha.
