Diane Werner and Tim Bishop, both of Silverdale, Wash., were married Sept. 27, 2014, at the Kemper Center Chapel. She is the daughter of John and Chris Werner of Bristol. He is the son of Michael and Roxanne Bishop of Lakeside, Calif., and Vickie and Ronnie Williamson of Raymond, Miss. The Rev. Steven Mitchell, uncle of the groom, officiated the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.

Laura Shear, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Anne Banike, Danielle Swopes and Rose Brody.

Brad Wright was the best man. The groomsmen were Michael and Matthew Bishop, brothers of the groom, and Dominic Vitali.

Ruby and Annabelle Powell were the flower girls.

A 4:30 p.m. reception was held at the Kemper Center Simmons Auditorium.

The bride graduated from Westosha Central High School, Salem; the University of Wisconsin-Madison, receiving degrees in zoology and psychology, and Moorpark College in Moorpark, Calif., with a degree in exotic animal training and management and certificates in wildlife education and animal behavior management. She is employed with SAIC, working for the Navy Marine Mammal Program.

The groom graduated from Humboldt State, Arcata, Calif., receiving a degree in freshwater fisheries, and from National University in San Diego, Calif., with a master's in environmental engineering. After many years of working for Oregon and California fish and wildlife departments, he now works for Sage Flyfishing Co., Bainbridge Island, Wash.

A delayed honeymoon to England is planned for 2015.
