Sarah Frenner and Joe Higgins, both of Chicago, were married on June 11, 2016, in Milwaukee. She is the daughter of John and Anna Frenner of Kenosha. He is the son of Mike and Carol Higgins of Kenosha. The Rev. Michael Michalski officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony at Our Lady of Divine Providence-St. Casimir.
Sisters of the bride, Kelly Johnson and Rachel Frenner, were the matron and maid of honor. The bridesmaids were friends of the bride Ally Neu, Amy Cronin, Mallory Marano, Tina Freeman and Kristen Wang.
Luke Naidicz, friend of the groom, was the best man. Matt Carr, Tim Gannon, Danny Hernandez, Craig Mertes, Steve Stenholt and Brian Becker were the groomsmen.
Matt Wheel and Andy Johnson were the ushers.
Genevieve Ciskowski was the flower girl.
A 5:30 p.m reception was held at The Grain Exchange in Milwaukee.
The bride graduated from Tremper High School and the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, receiving a bachelor's degree in marketing. She is employed as a product management specialist at Grainger in Chicago.
The groom graduated from St. Joseph High School. He received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Carthage College and a juris doctor degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School. He is employed as a lawyer at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago.
Their honeymoon location was St. Lucia.
The couple reside in Chicago.
