Emily Chiappetta of Racine and Kyle Bailey of Bloomington, Minn., were married on Aug. 1, 2014. The ceremony was held at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and the reception followed at The Morris Inn, both on the campus of the University of Notre Dame. She is the daughter of Sue and Ferdinand Chiappetta of Racine. He is the son of Kathy and Curt Bailey of Minneapolis, Minn.
Angela Fitzpatrick, Claire Doyle and Kathryn LaLonde were the matrons of honor. The bridesmaids were Bethany Freund, Claire Ziemba, Breda Barker and Becca Bailey.
Kevin Bailey was the best man. The groomsmen were Lars Held, Alex Heck, Sean Philbin, Ian Reither, Seamus Laird and Justin Doyle.
The flower girls were the bride's nieces, Addy LaLonde, Mary Fitzpatrick, Nora Doyle and Emmeline Fitzpatrick. The ring bearers were the bride's nephews, Jake and Henry Fitzpatrick. The ushers were Brendan Fitzpatrick, Steve LaLonde, Jack LaLonde and Andy LaLonde.
The bride graduated from St. Joseph High School in Kenosha and from the University of Notre Dame, receiving a degree in graphic design.
The groom graduated from Bloomington Jefferson High School and from Notre Dame, receiving a degree in economics.
The couple has started their married life in Minneapolis, Minn., but will be pursuing new career opportunities and moving to Los Angeles, Calif., in the fall.
