Amanda Alexander and Timothy AuBuchon, both of Chicago, were married on Sept. 15 at the Joffrey Ballet Studios in Chicago. She is the daughter of Gary Alexander and Anne Clarke of Kingsport, Tenn. He is the son of Bill and Judy AuBuchon of Pleasant Prairie.
The Rev. Bopkyong Lisa Galicia officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony. Stephanie Pappas was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Lee Anderson, Nasim Alexander, Emily McCann, Jessica AuBuchon and Jackie Hines.
Aaron McCann was the best man. The groomsmen were Clark Alexander, Nick Bentz and Jon Smith. The ring bearer was Mr. Bear - their dog.
The reception was also held in the Joffrey Ballet Studios.
The bride graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in Kingsport, Tenn., and from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Ga., receiving a bachelor of fine arts. She is employed at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.
The groom graduated from Tremper High School and from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, receiving a bachelor of science in computer science and history. He is employed at STRATA in Chicago.
The couple honeymooned in Spain and Portugal.
They reside in Chicago with their two dogs: Mr. Bear and Annyong.
