Lisa Halverson and Chris Ziarko, both of Kenosha, were married on June 29 at St. Mary Catholic Church. She is the daughter of Richard and Patricia Halverson of Hayward. He is the son of Mitchell and Gloria Ziarko of Kenosha. The Rev. Roman Stikel officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony.
Kellee Abozoglai was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Jenna Matteucci, Violet Gretzinger, Michelle Ziarko, Hannah Jablonski, Stephanie Herbert, Julie Pignotti and Mallory Yeaton.
Dan Makouske was the best man. The groomsmen were Dave Francis, Austin Helm, Tim Halverson, Alex Dwyer, Anthony Villalobos, Todd Abozoglai and Phil Osowski. Dan Wells and Dan Nelson were the ushers.
The reception was held at the Racine Marriott.
The bride graduated from St. Joseph High School and Marquette University, receiving a degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at Aurora Medical Center.
The groom graduated from St. Joseph High School and Marquette University, receiving a degree in accounting and finance. He is employed as a financial analyst at Brookdale Senior Living.
The couple will honeymoon in Hawaii.
They plan to reside in Kenosha.
