Ashley Blise and Brent Verhyen, both of Kenosha, were married on June 30. She is the daughter of Tom and Renee Blise of Kenosha. He is the son of Mark and Mary Verhyen of Appleton. The Rev. Michael Newman officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony at St. Mary Catholic Church.
Friend of the bride, Briana Talbert, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were sister of the bride, Nicole Blise, and friend of the bride, Merissa Harry. Friend of the groom, Clete Ketter was the best man. The groomsmen were brother of the groom, Chris Verhyen, and friend of the groom, Keenan Unangst. Randy Christensen and Brian Murphy were the ushers.
Sister of the groom, Tess Verhyen, and cousin of the bride, Geneva Cairo, were the miniature bridesmaids.
The ring bearer was cousin of the bride, Gianni Cairo. The miniature bride was Madelyn Verhyen, daughter of the wedding couple.
A 5 p.m. reception was held at the Italian American Club.
The bride graduated from Tremper High School and the Milwaukee School of Engineering, receiving a degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at United Hospital System in Kenosha.
The groom graduated from Appleton West High School and the Milwaukee School of Engineering, receiving a degree in architectural engineering and construction management. He is employed as an assistant project manager at Hunzinger Construction Co. in Brookfield.
The couple recently moved into their new home in Waukesha.
